Create your first study
From a question to a launched study in ten minutes.
A study is one question you want answered, the people you want to ask, and the conversations that follow. Most teams set up their first one in under ten minutes.
Before you start
You need a workspace and at least one way to reach users: a CSV of emails, a connected source such as Intercom, or the in-app prompt installed. If you have none of these yet, the preview interview still works and is a good way to see the interviewer in action.
Create the study
- Choose New study from the sidebarPick Start from a question. Write what you want to learn the way you would say it to a colleague.
- Review the discussion guideThe interviewer drafts four to six questions. Reorder or rewrite them as you like.
- Pick who to talk toUpload a list, choose a segment from a connected source, or turn on the in-app prompt for a screen. Set a cap on interviews.
- Take the preview interview, then launchAnswer the interviewer yourself. It does not count against your plan. When it reads right, choose Launch.
What do you want to learn?
Why do teams stop using the weekly digest after the first month?

What happens next
Invitations go out within the hour. Interviews appear in the study as they finish, and what people said lands on the topic page, tied to who said it. You will get an email when the first interview finishes.
