Product Signal is built to process sensitive customer feedback workflows with clear boundaries: customer data stays yours, processing is governed by documented instructions, and the providers involved are disclosed.
Data Handling Commitments
- Customer data ownership: customers retain ownership of data they import, sync, submit, or generate through the Service.
- Processor role: when we process customer personal data on behalf of a customer, our processing is governed by the DPA.
- AI boundaries: customer content is used to provide Product Signal features and is not used to train Product Signal AI models.
- Subprocessor transparency: current service subprocessors, website providers, and customer-directed integrations are listed publicly.
- Security controls: access controls, encryption in transit, organization-scoped access, logging, backups, and incident response practices are documented in the DPA.
- Deletion and export: customer data can be exported or deleted according to the Terms, DPA, and applicable order form.
